Drizzling by me for about an hour, some places getting it more than others but nothing severe. Just like COVID this seems to be a bit of a hype

Mc Bean, Couva is wet and grey.
Intermittent showers and drizzles thus far.
All pothole patches executed over the last few weeks are at risk.

but Be thankful the plants and animals getting some water after the blazing hot sun whole week. Be happy for them.

Go bathe in the rain and stop letting everything affect your emotions brother, big man ting.

The struggle is in your head, you can control your thoughts.

I'm wondering if the excessive rainfall last year had anything to do with the 5-6 VEI volcano explosion and activity in the Pacific in Jan 2022. Or if it's just part of the pattern of climate change in the region? And there were lots of excess rainfall and flooding in many parts of the world in 2022. The Hunga Tonga eruption in January 2022 is the first such that scientists are able to examine with modern tools, instruments, satellites and knowledge of the impacts on climate. They even recorded a terrestrial gamma ray flash in the atmosphere caused by the volcano.

It's been recorded and speculated that several times in human history such large volcanic activity possibly caused devastating weather changes very far from the eruption site. For example the 1815 eruption of Tambora (VEI 7) created the Year without Summer of 1816 in Europe, and some propose that as recent as 2 months later had unusual excessive rainfall effects in Belgium which contributed to the poor conditions for Napoleon's army at Waterloo.

In 1315-1317 there was the Great Famine in Europe, caused by excessive rainfall during the harvest seasons destroying most of the crops. This famine was so bad that it entered even into the lore of folk stories like Hansel and Gretel cannibalism. Recently scientists discovered that Mt. Tarawera in New Zealand exploded several times in 1314 with a VEI 4 -5.

Could be

Basically the concept of cloud seeding. The water vapour just needs something physical to condense on.

Which is my theory that there's always a light shower after new years and divali because everybody bussing fireworks. Lots of condensation nuclei in the air. ( I remember sumn from cape geography boi, thought it was useless yes)

Maj.tom good points, as usual. In line with your post, I just read this:

Record-breaking Tonga undersea volcano disrupted satellite signals in space
By Charles Q. Choi published about 23 hours ago

An underwater volcanic eruption last year was powerful enough to generate plasma bubbles that disrupted radio communications in outer space, a new study finds.
