Good day, are the any supermarket or minimart owners here? what is the process for opening a mini mart, i know about the business name registration, but what about obtaining supplies, goods, and equipment?

many suppliers will give you equipment but you have to stock their goods in it (or they will stock it for you). i think like kiss breads, you just give them a space for their rack and they stock it. coca cola might give you a fridge but it has to be for their products (coke, dasani, sprite, some fruit drink brands, etc). ice cream people (creamery?) same thing. snacks people (lays? charles? idk), same deal - you give them the space and they pack it. bule waters might give you a rack for their bottles, idk.

biggest cost will be real-estate, current, and labor. and the margins are small.
