bmobile iphone handset - esim locked

Trying to install an eSim to a bmobile iphone 14 handset. Its supposed to accept up to 8 eSims. This would be a US sim for upcoming travel... My TT sim would remain as a physical sim.
However, I'm not seeing the option in Settings to add an esim.
I'm wondering if bmobile has blocked those options since they don't sell esims themselves?
Does anyone know anything about this? Does anyone know how I can get around this and load an esim on my new handset?

i would guess both phone companies have their own phones locked by default-perhaps u should let them know u are using it abroad and not simply switching to their competitor and who knows they may unlock it for u.
