okay so whole day I watching this spectacle and I have to admit, the guy behind this (and I say "guy" because so far I only seeing one fella, no employees) should get an honorary marketing degree. The buzz generated is palpable. Not simply palpable, but palpable with a particular quality that makes people who do not even know what is being sold start frothing to find out. Look at how much froth on this forum even.

Now the biggest cost of the scheme could be legal. He advertising a "mobile network" but was careful not to call it a MNVO (which would require TATT approval). TATT talked with him, no lawsuit, he get away.

The other player is Elon Musk's STARLINK (NO RELATION to Blues network/Star Network). Newsday like dunce media journalists completed conflated the two entities and put out an article that gave the blues guy far more exposure that he had any right to get. Whether blues network guy timed his launch on purpose to get into the news cycle, I do not know. But it did work, tremendously so.

The product itself is apparently the same higher-purchase/"Post-paid" deals we accustomed to with bmobile/digicel dealers, but with the initial price of $1 (I remember when mobile providers used to give phones FREE when you sign up on contract). I guess his branding is for some VPN package or something for the Blues, idk, hopefully is something other than the sticker on the laptop or phone. I guessing that is what the "network" refers to - some kinda app/software network for Blues hopefully
