Get the tiida , easy to maintain, parts aren't an issue and it will get you from point A to B as they reliable.ceejay01 wrote:Appreciate the replies, My budget is around 30k just need something easy to maintain where i could get from point a to b with but still enjoy as im young. Also something where the parts aint real expensive & hard to find.
Some vehicles ive been looking at are: Tiida, wingroad, nze121, mazda 3 axela bk,
No car suspension is gonna survive. Some may go a bit further, sure - but when those brands have to change.. could be 5x more expensive than NissanDMan7 wrote:Nissan suspension parts are built weak. Every other month you'll be at the mechanic replacing some part. The good news is though the parts for Nissan cheap.

Lemme give you a lil "old man" advice.
First off, what would you term as "enjoy" the car? Because that can determine a lot. Enjoy as in reliable transport and comfortable ride/ reliability? Or "enjoy" as in daily and occasional race and go fast (not on public roads) or modifying with things (music / performance, etc)?
Then the next questions become: you have a budget of 30K, what is your budget for maintenance, upkeep and "unforeseen circumstances" and what is your knowledge of cars?
Those will determine what you can (or should) probably go for or at least consider where priorities would lie. It sounds like you are looking for something fairly lower cost and not wanting to spend much for parts. That should be the priority over everything depending on what we call "disposable income"
Because (as MANY will tell you) when you like cars and you want one, budgets quickly go out the window when we see things for them we want or want to look like someone else. Wheels, lights, paint, muffler, speed, music, ALL have costs that will go way out a budget when you see others with it and want the same for yours.
And when you start taking money that supposed to be for other things, to feed your new "habit" it can backfire... BAD.
So my pre "buy a car" advice is to know your priorities and stick to it. Because cars (especially used ones at that price point) can end up being money pits, especially when you are buying a car that is used with god knows what's already worn or will fail or go wrong on you. So keep that in mind and as priority over anything else. No used car is going to be trouble free. Some worse than others depending on the previous owner(s)
That said, my car advice to you is a first car should be the easiest of ANY OTHER BRAND to get parts for (even with your eyes closed). And that... is a Nissan whether Almera, Tiida, Wingroad.
They're a good starter car because even if anything goes wrong, you will find parts ANYWHERE. .. and almost EVERYONE can fix them. For new owners on a budget, that's the best thing. Not to mention a cheaper, basic car easier to get parts, you can learn things and be a better car person in the process by learning tutorials or asking others for help, than say a more complicated car.
Yes, Nissans known for some rust and also suspension weaker, but you quicker find it easier new and used than most and it's a good stepping stone to upgrade to better as time and finances get better.
But the choice in the end is up to you. But always remember as a first car, it's about learning and budget priorities.

anybody checked out the Rent to Own company in freeport?
they offering a lot of fairly newly licensed cars and seem to offer easy financing
they must have plenty capital backing, wonder who are the owners of that company
