well..i getting that problem all the time and I using amzoil lol

then try the fuel pump ECU reset

Lol told the guys in Maska today about it, they say "yeah we did it"

but it dont look like they know wtf I was talking about

is this what you meant tho?

To clear the codes from your ECM do as follows

How to Set Diagnostic Test Mode II (Self-diagnostic Results)
1. Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch ON and wait 3 seconds.
2. Repeat the following procedure quickly five times within 5 seconds.
a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal.
b. Fully release the accelerator pedal.
3. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 10 seconds until the MI starts
blinking.
4. Fully release the accelerator pedal.
ECM has entered to Diagnostic Test Mode II (Self-diagnostic results).

How to Erase Diagnostic Test Mode II (Self-diagnostic Results)
1. Set ECM in Diagnostic Test Mode II (Self-diagnostic results).
Mode II (Self-diagnostic Results)" .
2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for more than 10 seconds.
The emission-related diagnostic information has been erased from the backup memory in the ECM.
3. Fully release the accelerator pedal, and confirm the DTC 0000 is displayed.

or in short
Ign on count to 3
full on and off throttle 5 times within 5 sec's
count to 7 hold throttle down for 10 or so seconds
wait for the ECM light to flash let go of throttle and your in count the codes after you have written them down or fell you don’t need any codes just hold the throttle down until you see the ECM pattern change to ten fast flashes twice and then ten slow flashes and there you have one reset ECM

so i was reading earlier in the forum that poor fuel economy would be due to this

Fuel leak ·

Dirty air filter

Corrected injection timing

Leaking injectors

I just got my navara and have done about 800km on it and filled up once since getting the van...but the the fuel economy seems poor (granted i'm not exceeding 120km on the highway)

the first tank of gas i got 495km to it and the second tank thus far 120km and the needle is just above the 3/4 full mark....no a/c being used...what could be causing this on such a new van?

any ideas...going to call massey and explain the situation to them

I know of two instances where massey had to change the pump because of bad diesel and the recommended the CAV filter or AlgeaX.... I am not saying that the two filters do not work but the opportunity cost of having that little extra protection for $500.00 is worth it especially with the nav cuz they are so sensitive....

thing to note as it has been posted here many times is where you fill up and when.

Greypatch; seeing that it boils down to diesel, which stations should we fill at or stay away from. I live in couva and always use St. Mary's Junction Station....Never had a problem with bad diesel there!!! Fellas, can we post the areas and which stations to stay away from (if this is a re-post, i apologize)!!!

I use one statio and one alone...

From South so its Jaggernauths in Penal..

On a rare ocassion i need fuel i put ah lol 20$ and roll.

also I run my tank down to below 1/4 9 ot out 10 times...

This ensures water build up is minimised in the tank.

Didnt know UNIPET now owns it, but...if its the same person managing it as before (because thats what they usually do, buy over the gas station and give the former owner to run it)

leh we just say...when you buy fuel there...half of what you getting is condensate

Yea, its now Unipet - not sure who managing day to day operations though.

Question fellas - last year there was flooding on the main road in st. augustine around TSTT and some distance west. The Unipet station pay at the pump service went down for a while. Dont know if the flood waters had anything to do with it.

How protected are gas stations underground storage tanks from flooding or groundwater seepage?

Do these tanks have filters to prevent anything in the tanks from being pulled up by the pumps?

I fill up at the new station on Aranguez main road. Brand new everything so i feel a bit safer there. :)

About the milage I drive the 3.2 L Frontier and I get about 600KM from a tank is that normal.

That's really fcuked up bro - a guy in the classifieds use to sell a vinyls repair kit- try doing a search-
if you want to put back tint again on your windscreen consider getting the "Air Blue" tint from llumar - keep out the uv and keeps your van cool- plus them MOFC will leave you alone cause it look like you have none on

Any idea what the cost would be just for labor to install tint in a vehicle?

I have my own pre-cut security tint (vehicle specific) coming in and I just want someone to install it
