I have been awaiting updates on this issue as i have a 2012 ranger(thankfully no braking problems)
I was thinking about your problem, you say M$M can't resolve?
I don't know much abt abs systems, but i read if abs fails normal braking is not compromised.
So maybe you can try disable abs(remove fuse)and if braking is still malfunction, then look at the proportinate valve or adjustment,if problem goes away then look at abs system.
Also pls update post on any new info,is it a 2012 ranger you have?did not really see if you specified a model.
