Don't buy Apollo tires. Hard to mount and terrible on dry road. Slipping on anything.

275/65 R17 is milimeters away from touching inner wheel wells on stock suspension
17x9 ET0

Assuming the same size tyre, you might need a 1.5" lift minimum

Better to buy good tyres than to randomly chart your own course off road

Don't buy Apollo tires. Did some driving with a navara with a brand new set. Terrible experience. After 1/2 throttle the entire van spinning like a 500hp drift car. Madness

The Bridgestone Dueller HT 840 is notoriously bad in wet roads.
The newer / more recent Hilux's come with 265/65/17 Bridgestone Dueller AT 693 iii.

Does anyone have any experience with these 693 tires?
How do they perform?
(I'm particularly looking for feedback on traction & safety, as opposed to off-road performance / life)

I went ahead with this and thought to give an update.

These Bridgestone perform much much better than the 840's. So, I'm happy with the purchase.

Would have liked to try Sailun, but the opportunity couldn't be passed up.

Long story short....not all Bridgestone are the same...

Hope this helps.

This is my first time changing tires for Jeep, can someone give me some advice when it comes to choosing all-season tires for snow for Jeep Wrangler? for example in https://tireer.com/best-all-season-tires-for-snow/
