resale value would be better on the nav.

Only heard bad reviews from first hand Dmax owners, enough to generally discourage me from getting one.

@Paul, mostly suspension issues, such as OEM shocks and bushings that can't handle rough roads. A couple mentioned really clunky gears and noisy engines.

I know the Nav has its own set of complaints but at the end of the day, the Nav will be a faster resell.

Good to know. Hadn't heard anything bad about the Dmax until now.

If ur looking to buy it for leisure, buy the hilux bro, your mind at ease, no problems at all, BUT if ur buying a truck as a work vehicle and can sacrifice the bells and whistles, i HIGHLY recommend a frontier, parts are easy to get and not expensive, neal and massy still sells em. They are really reliable, just look at wasa's fleet, they get really abused! They had plenty navaras and now they only buyin frontiers!
I have a frontier, well maintained, 10 years old.... Haven't changed any parts as yet!
