My Thoughts

Postby ronsin1 » May 25th, 2010, 8:02 am

So the People's Partnership won the election by a landslide. I see most of the post here don't show a level of maturity.

Remember do so eh like so

We should respect the views from others and not be like them

What we should do now is sit back and demand our new government to make good on their manifesto.

Put their plans in place and proper schedule to execute plans. We don't expect to have things change overnight but at the same time we don't want excuses for non performance.

We have voted for this lets ensure our government work for us and not against us.

Like this level of maturity? I was pretty happy with the result until I read that!
I have to agree the same way they were voted in they can be voted out. I will say I am glad to see that Trinidad and Tobago (well most of the people) put country before party and decided for a change.

For the first time people have put party aside and demanded we get good governance.

We can only move forward with this.

The more people realize and are educated on how government should be the better.

People are only human and we should foresee some mistakes what we need to is hold the government more accountable
