OFFROAD AWARENESS

Postby .z. » July 22nd, 2013, 6:32 pm

Guys stay tuned!!!

In the near future I would be embarking on a program entitled "Offroad Awareness & Overview".

It targets:
. those interested in gaining knowledge of the sport, one will be exposed to the safe practices one should demonstrate on a trail, after this no one would guess your competence, be it driver or co-driver/ navigator.
. those offroaders and assistants/co-drivers who are interested in furthering their knowledge as "every experience is a learning one" or if one wants to call it a "refresher"
. first time owners of 4wd or AWD vehicles who just want a little knowledge of 4-wheeling (although the program goes a bit deeper, the knowledge is worth getting)

It entails:
. the basics of different types of 4wd systems
. recovery/ rigging
. safety
. basic first aid practices
. practicals on some of the above topics....knots, rope splicing, winching, etc

One should find the program entertaining, educational and interactive.

It should bring a better understanding of the sport, respect for the environment and a closer detail and understanding of practice on a trail.

Persons interested or with enquiries can call me at 374-6263 or email jvmungal@yahoo.com or you can follow on facebook

Sincerely Yours

Z!!!

Bess Initiative from a man with a wealth of knowledge when it comes to this sport as well as other things. 4x4 Addicts will provide any assistance that we can and are ready to learn as much as we can. True enthusiasts as well as those looking in from beyond the trails will stand to benefit greatly...

In recent time I have been contacting some of the groups and doing the debut of this program.

We have just faced a tragedy in Offroad, and whilst this happened where facilities were somewhat easily accessible, we still lost our brother.

The sport of Offroad takes us to remote areas where access to facilities are difficult. Many times caution is thrown to the wind with practices. An accident does not choose its victims, anyone can be affected.

People this is an appeal to you, lets be safe and prepared!!!

Even as a seasoned offroader, one can view this as a refresher program as many times through our experience we overlook the basics.

Interested persons can contact 374-6263 Z or email zoffroad@yahoo.com

Did this happen already? It sounds really good. I am new to the 4x4 world and would be happy to learn from the experienced. Let me know when and where.
