If you looking for mud terrains at a very affordable price, there is the Hifly Mud Terrains that goes for about $850 per tire. If you really interested in these, I can find out from a friend where he got his. I believe he got them somewhere up north side. As far as I see, they work well offroad and doesn't wear too fast for daily on road tires. Not sure how they work in the wet.

If you looking for all terrains, I used the Hercules Terra Trac (the R15 version. Not the R16). They served me quite well when I was running all terrains in the mud. They probably go for around $1100 each now. I saw them in Penal a while ago.

I currently have the Hifly All Terrains which I paid $900 each. They don't work too well in mud sadly. They do work great on the road though. Just though I would let you know in case you get a bit happy when you see the price for these.

There is also the usual BFGoodrich All Terrains. Work excellent on and off the road, but they are extremely expensive. Like over $2000 each. The mud terrains in them work even better in the mud, and still offer a good ride on the road and wear very slow. But again, high quality for high price. Somewhere around the $2000 mark for them, but a bit cheaper than the all terrain version.

There is a tire thread somewhere in this forum which discusses tires for your 4x4 and where you can find some to buy. Take a read in that thread and you should find a tire that suits your use and price.

Good luck with your tire hunt. Oh. And do bear in mind the precautions of using mud terrains on road as a daily tire. They wear quick, lose traction much easier, especially in the wet and they make a good deal of noise for highway use (the noise may not bother you at first, but over time, it can wear you out).

As per stated above, the BF mud terrains are actually more expensive than the all terrains

The set I have on ( both frontier and Mazda ) have never failed me in the wet or rainy conditions

always remember u get what u pay for eh, dont expect best performance from a cheap tyre.....

if u know u just want a beater tyre for road use, then yeah by all means cheap tyre FTW, but if u want a good allround try for road and off road then get something good.....

u still on 16s? if so then that just made ur choices a lot slimmer......

most D22 owners swap over to 15" rims to increase the option of tyre selection.....
