Trinidads very own Hemechan Sparky Ramoutar with his Stock Chassis Datsun 120Y with SR20DET Power Managed to achieve a 9.93 Second at the ST Lucia Drag Wars Redemption Event #1 2013. Sparky recently went with a new G-Force Manual Transmission along with some changes and Bettered his Previous 10 Second Record. Sparky is now the 2nd Fastest SR20 in Trinidad and the 2nd Trinidad SR20 to touch 9 second's. Congrats to Mr Sparky and the Crew !!!

Congrats to Spark it wa great seeing them online . However a point of clarification please :

Sparky is now the 2nd Fastest SR20 in Trinidad and the 2nd SR20 to touch 9 second's in Trinidad.

These times were not done in Trinidad were they ?

Mr Sparky received the Fastest Four Cylinder Prize at the recently concluded St. Lucia Drag Wars Event.

Just goes to show ,that hard work and persistence ,pays off.

Congrats to You Sparky, low 9's is just down that stretch.

A special large up to one of My Favourite Racers Mr Hemchan Sparky Ramoutar on his hard work at the Grenada Stag Wars this weekend on his successful Passes , very Hard work and attempts to Repair his car over there. Too bad he didnt get a Good Chance to beat his previous 9.9 SR20DET Record but there is always a Next Time. Its very difficult to know whats Gonna happen in different Racing environments when we dont got a proper place to test and know your car when changes are made to it. I would like to say Job well done to Sparky and his entire Team for the Courage and Effort Given. He did quite well Piloting Drop Shops SR20 Lancer at the Event though
