Postby BoostJunkieXL » July 5th, 2017, 11:37 am

Tuners,

So im hearing a talk that drip pans are now required for drag racing ? can anyone confirm this ? for small people like who me who are so close to finally finishing a car to go to races. and time my car and what not. its now another expense...not everyone can afford to these things. so is drag racing limited to people with money or the likes of sheron or achang ? smfh...can someone please confirm this. Thanks.

Drip pan might save Racers and Spectators at least 30 Mins to an Hour sometimes (Depending on the mess) when a Transfer Case , Transmission or Engine is Blown and of course one less job for the clean up team. One particular Event there was almost a 2 hour wait. This is why TTASA is bringing it to the tables. Prevention .
Im not sure for this next Ultimate Shootout event but Im the sure the next TTASA event , you will need it.

This sunday's oil spill on the track confirms that a drip pan is a necessity for race cars.
After the meadilist spilled oil all over one lane single passes were the order of the day for most of the evening.
