Just got a Black GT, awesome ride and features, very sporty looking...love it!!!!
The mats are total crap, ordered a set of All Weather on Amazon only to realize they are Left Hand only
Anyone knows where to get a set of decent OEM mats with the locking safety feature????

Hey U will have to check online maybe in the U.K. Market. There is the guy who installs the accessories from the firm but he only had the original mats.
I agree the original mats doesn't do a good job. I purchased some large rubber mats for the front and cut the driver side to fit the organ type accelerator.

Just did the 25,000Km service. would have been more lol but was away for 2 months. Van really running good. no Issues so far.
Averaging 8.8-9.5L/100km typically

Would really love to change the mats tho. Those ones that came with the van is crap
Anyone got thru with some decent replacements?

Just a update..hit 30,000km. One year old now.
Had done issues with the ac. Apparently the thermostat malfunctioned and needed changing. Also was getting a overrev when driving at constant speeds. Took it into southern sales Fri and got back the van same evening.
Thermostat was changed out and they did a software update on the van. Everything working great now.
All was done under warranty so no charge

Thanks for the update.
I reach one year and reached 27,000kms. No issues thus far. One major improvement from the previous model is the disc pads. I have over 50% left. With the previous model full replacement is needed by 25,000-30000kms.

Had the same engine over rev issue. Took it in and they did a software update. Took no more than 20 mins.

Really good customer service in South compared to north.
1 year and already has 29,000kms. Really nice daily driven vehicle.

Guys, any upgraded the 17" rims and tyres. I am going 18" and was told the 235/55/18 will work fine.
Anyone know if 255/55/18 can also work?

jhonnieblue wrote:The electric steering makes handling really nice tho. So far pleased with it. Only issue is the auto hold deactivates once the engine in turned off. Kind of annoying turning it on all the time.

Other than that perfect. Already hit over 1000km.

B6 business....
Glad you got something you like....

Having some minor issues with electrical. Front door not opening when handle is pulled. Have to try like three to four times. Also the power window on front door seems to be sticking. Taking it in on Monday to sort out

Why does the door actuator have to change on a relatively new vehicle?

When I brought my van I got a hit on the door less than a month in it ownership. Southern sales changed out the door for me but used the same internals. Interfering with the mechanisms gives the chance of a higher risk that something can go wrong during install. But I took the risk as I wanted a new door. Now it could be the actuator is just misaligned etc. But if they are willing to give me a new one who am I to argue

Hi guys in the process of purchasing a Sportage, how would I be able to tell the version of software I need to have to prevent the over revving problem?

Hey don’t know about the exact version but you can ask your sales rep.
Even if he BS you and you experience this overrev, just take the vehicle in. the software upgrade took approx 20mins.

Enjoy your new ride.

Just want to say thank you to everyone on this forum, recently bought a 2017 Sportage GT Line in November and by December started having the over-rev issue. Was starting to get worried even though it has only happened 6 times thus far... My first service is this week so I now know what to request... Thanks everyone!

Hey I replaced my battery last month. Was still going strong since March 2016 but still changed it as part of my preventative mtce.
I got a power master that fits loke d original. Paid approx $800. I was very surprised how long the original battery lasted. Currently doing 62000kms.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
So on Saturday my left side Headlight washer nozzle cover / blank was stolen. Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement or even a brand new pair... tried looking online; Amazon, Ebay, you name it I have probably searched... but every kia parts place I found does not have it... Additionally tried calling the firm waste of time. So I would really appreciate some help...

Thanks I got the Mineral Silver... absolutely love it... the leather seats require loads of care though... being a first time owner of a vehicle I am clueless about most things sadly!

Sold my 2016 sportage at 70000kms and the original disc pads were close to 50%. This is a big improvement from the previous model.
No issues for 70000kms.
