fiance has a Dec 2015 Soul, less than 10,000km on it. When driving on rough roads, there is a rattle that comes from behind the steering wheel. It sounds like a mettle piece bouncing around in there. It's been back to SS twice for this issue and they either 'don't hear anything' or give us another run around story. Last I heard from them they were going to order the part. It's been like 3 months. Anyone have this issue? Anyone know a reliable, good mechanic that works on Kia that may be able to help?

It's probably a failed clockspring... common defect on Kias. The firm is supposed to change it for free.

Thanks. I think it's that as well. THEY THINK ITS THE GAUGE CLUSTER. Presumably because they are retarded.

There is disc in the steering column that is infamous for that kind of noise.

Also trying to get a hold on anyone at SS on the phone is impossible. They want to change the Gauge cluster. I think they are wasting my time. Anyone know of someone at SS that I can call that actually knows what they are doing?

I had a noise in my koup and it sounded like it was the rack and i changed the stabliser and link bushings and the noise went there are 2 rubbers cant rembet what they were called that were changed as well .
