HELP Hiyundai H100 ENGINE UPGRADE

Postby deezem » January 1st, 2009, 5:50 pm

i have a H100 like the one in the pictures below.

I have been loosing power with my van for a while now.

I have had it a year plus and the services has been regular.

does anyone out there have the same complaint?

is it possible to turbo charge this engine and will that help with the power loss?

check your filters, massy dont always change them i know i had issues with them a long time ago, check your fuel filter for water, bleed the valve at the bottom of the filter also check the air filter for yourself for dedris or dust,or if you passed through water it may be wet as for turbo i installed a 4d56t in mines awhile ago the engine came off a pajero cost close to 8k fitted in nice but have to modify brackets for engine......good luck :P

Thanks 0-TJ-0

I forgot to mention that its a dual cab which took me long enough to find a good one.

Upgrading the current engine will be my plan.
