Tucson transmission 'morning sickness'

Postby sham1984 » April 2nd, 2012, 11:34 pm

The transmission shifts rough or sometimes has a big delay shifting when its cold. Once you drive for about 2-3mins and everything heats up, the transmission shifts smoothly.

Have the same problem with our Almera for about 3 years or so and it never developed further on that one. I'd like to think that if the transmission hasn't died yet on this one, its not internal

Anybody have the same experience? Would a diagnostic scan tell if the solenoids or sensors are bad on the Tucson transmission?

Any related input would be greatly appreciated.
