The latest studies show that the most effective methods of control are open air spaces, maintaining distance and the adoption of universal mask use.goalpost wrote:At the end of the day, our health care system will become way overwhelmed and the only solution to this at this time is to drastically reduce the amount of people outside and that is a lockdown. As harsh as it is, it is the truth. We will suffer financially, but it has to be done. Everyone knows this. Rowley knows this. He is trying his hardest to buy some time, but if he doesn't act soon, this could pretty much cripple Trinidad.

Insufficient capacity to accommodate at-will testing. Insufficient funding to provide testing.Dohplaydat wrote:So my neighbor just told me that she was denied testing at the health center because she didn't have a fever. She says she feels like crap, is experiencing body chills, pains, is developing a cough.
What the firetruck is wrong with our testing facilities?
She will be going st Clair tomorrow to be tested but this is ludicrous. She says 3 other people were turned away because they had no fever.
All they're telling them is to isolate for 7 days and come back if it gets worse. One of those who came in for testing is a store worker at a popular mall.
How are we freaking up testing so badly?

In my opinion, if she believes that she actually has Covid-19, she should self-isolate immediately.Dohplaydat wrote:pugboy wrote:she don’t have a home thermometer to check when she get the chills and sweats bad?
Yes but for some reason it never passed 99.2 degrees. Another doctor friend in NY said his symptoms were very similar, where he felt like he had a fever but it didn't register above 99 though he said for one brief period his temperature was close to 100.
