Not really all you need is a vaxxed card and you inside

It does say a lot about us and our attitudes that we strictly obey litter, traffic and other laws so strictly in the US, but when we're in our own country not so much.

Nope I already have my card so makes no difference to me, how does it go if you can't beat them join them, I identify as vaccinated in the public now

Yeah I'm so stupid to put an illegitimate card on a public forum, there are loopholes to every system, this just creates a need and no verification is required

Guys.

Why do you all continue to engage hover on this and all other threads?

Don't you realise that his posts are mostly trolls and his blatant dishonesty is what impedes progress in our country as well as what will cause the effects of the pandemic to continue?

The more he's "humoured" the more attention he gets.

Can you all try to ignore him and no longer respond to his trolls on all forums such that we can bring back meaningful value to the topics?

It will become a serious fatal mistake if Vax people are made to have such False Sense of Security with drastic discriminatory rules against the unvax, making them more vulnerable to breakthrough infections which will feed mutations for the making of the super virus. Mark these words.

People in this society have a right to accept or deny an emergency approved vaccine that no society or government is willing to take liability for. You are not God, Your God Complex needs to be addressed, you are neither better or worse than any other individual in this Society, you had a personal choice to make, and so does everyone else, STOP BULLYING persons whom you think you can insult. EVERYONE in this Sovereign State is FREE and you nor anyone else can infringe on that Freedom

Duane 3NE 2NR wrote:PM: Gyms, bars, casinos, cinemas to reopen to vaccinated

Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley says by the end of this month, vaccinated persons will be allowed to return to gyms, restaurants, in-house dining, cinemas, casinos and bars.

He made the comment while speaking during a media conference at Blenheim House, Tobago following a three-day cabinet retreat on the sister isle.

The PM explained that these operations will be allowed under 'safe zones'. This means that both the staffers and the patrons in these industries would need to be fully vaccinated in order to participate.

On April 29, Dr Rowley called an urgent press conference and disclosed that the country had recorded an unprecedented number of COVID-19 infections in 24 hours.

That figure stood at 328.

He shut down most sectors as a result.

However, some industries were allowed to resume operation on a gradual basis.

This is the first time sectors will be offering specific services to vaccinated people in Trinidad and Tobago.

Those businesses will lose money also...think thats just another way to make the unvaccinated feel inferior that's the new racism

You see these dotish people we have hear that like to pick and choose what they follow from WHO. What about people with natural immunity which Gavi, the group in charge of covax and heavily funded by Bill gates, says is better than vaccination

https://www.gavi.org/vaccineswork/peopl ... vaccinated

#VACCINESWORK People who have already had COVID-19 could be less likely to catch Delta than the vaccinated
A new study from Israel suggests the risk of a breakthrough infection among vaccinated people was higher than among people who’d recovered from COVID-19 but had not been vaccinated.

31 August 2021 – by Priya Joi

WHAT IS THE RESEARCH ABOUT?
The extent to which we can rely on previous infection to protect us against COVID-19 has been unclear, with several studies indicating that protection from natural immunity may be relatively low in some individuals, and may also decline over time. However, immunity from vaccination also seems to decline with time to some extent, and an important question is whether those who have never encountered the virus should be prioritised for vaccination ahead of those who have recovered from COVID-19.

The study indicates that natural immunity is of great value in protecting against disease, but that its protection is further increased when combined with vaccination.
WHAT DID THE RESEARCHERS DO?
Publishing in a pre-print that has not yet been peer-reviewed, researchers led by Tal Patalon and Sivan Gazit at Maccabi Healthcare Services in Tel Aviv analysed a healthcare database containing information about 2.5 million Israelis. They examined new SARS-CoV-2 infections in people who had never been infected but had been vaccinated with the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine, those who were not yet vaccinated but had recovered from COVID-19, and in people who had received one dose of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine and had also previously had COVID-19.

WHAT DID THEY FIND?
The researchers found that people who had never been infected and were vaccinated in January and February were 6-13 times more likely to become infected during June – August (when the Delta variant was the dominant strain circulating in Israel) than unvaccinated people who had recovered from SARS-CoV-2. They also compared two groups of 14,000 unvaccinated people who had recovered from SARS-CoV-2 with a similarly sized group of people who had previously been infected and had received one dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine. The team found that the previously infected but unvaccinated group was twice as likely to be reinfected as those who had been previously infected and received one dose of vaccine.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
The study indicates that the natural immunity gained through becoming infected and recovering from SARS-CoV-2 is of great value in protecting against future disease, but that this protection is further increased when combined with vaccination.

It’s important to note that although natural immunity can be highly protective, it can come at a great cost – millions haven’t survived COVID-19, and others have suffered severe disease and hospitalisation. There's also the risk of Long COVID-19, which can take an enormous mental and physical toll. Thus, infection with SARS-CoV-2 is still not the best way to develop protection against COVID-19.

However, the study suggests for people who have previously had COVID-19, one vaccine dose may be sufficient to provide strong protection. In a time of limited global vaccine supply, this could potentially free up doses to vaccinate people worldwide who have not yet received any vaccine. The research also emphasises that even after being vaccinated, people still need to take precautionary measures such as physical distancing and wearing masks to prevent breakthrough infections.

I wonder if there was a way to get natural immunity without getting full blown infected with Covid.Like a way to inject a tiny amount of the virus itself into your body so that your body can develop antibodies towards it.Somebody should invent something like that

A new study from Israel suggests the risk of a breakthrough infection among vaccinated people was higher than among people who’d recovered from COVID-19 but had not been vaccinated.

I don't believe you understand what you posted
.

I posted this in context of places reopening to vaccinated individuals. Gavi is recognizing that people with immunity from previous infection are better protected those that are vaccinated. So why can't these people be allowed to partake of the cinemas and restaurants etc.

Tell me what else is in those mRNA vaccines, the links stops there
The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is made of the following ingredients:

mRNA – Also known as messenger ribonucleic acid, mRNA is the only active ingredient in the vaccine. The mRNA molecules contain the genetic material that provide instructions for our body on how to make a viral protein that triggers an immune response within our bodies. The immune response is what causes our bodies to make the antibodies needed to protect us from getting infected if exposed to the coronavirus.

There are rumors that mRNA vaccines will alter our DNA because the RNA molecule can convert information stored in DNA into proteins. That’s simply, not true. It’s critical to note that the mRNA vaccines never enter the nucleus of the cell, where our DNA is stored. After injection, the mRNA from the vaccine is released into the cytoplasm of the cells. Once the viral protein is made and on the surface of the cell, mRNA is broken down and the body permanently gets rid of it, therefore making it impossible to change our DNA.

Lipids – The following lipids are in the new COVID vaccine. Their main role is to protect the mRNA and provide somewhat of a “greasy” exterior that helps the mRNA slide inside the cells.

((4-hydroxybutyl)azanediyl)bis(hexane-6,1-diyl)bis

(2-hexyldecanoate), 2 [(polyethylene glycol)-2000]-N,N-ditetradecylacetamide

1,2-Distearoyl-snglycero-3- phosphocholine

cholesterol

Salts – The following salts are included in the Pfizer vaccine and help balance the acidity in your body.

potassium chloride

monobasic potassium phosphate

sodium chloride

dibasic sodium phosphate dihydrate

Sugar – Basic table sugar, also known as sucrose, can also be found in the new COVID vaccine. This ingredient helps the molecules maintain their shape during freezing.
