Geographically we are lucky to be close to a large continent in South America which makes it difficult to get those big hurricanes other small islands get as they tend to lose alot of steam closer to land mass.

But who put Trinidad so close to be in such an advantageous position geographically in the world?

That's right God is a Trini! :D

Well heavy rain in Mc Bean, Couva.
We have gone from one extreme to the other, the water build-up on the ground at this time is significant.
Was actually considering wetting plants this morning.

Was feeling hopeful the rains that followed us from Couva heading east would have brought a relaxing wet Sunday evening, but the place got super dry after Trincity lights.

I fear soon we will see temperatures in the 40's which will be the "new normal" going forward living on this planet.

Was doing some work outside today and the heat intensity was real different. Now I know why... had to put up a tarp and make a shed since it was unbearable.

That Piarco weather reading doesn't give a true picture of typical weather in Trinidad. In built up areas the temperature is 38-40 C
