Looks like they would finally allow Home Screen backgrounds & the Mac OS X dock

yeah most ppl understand the need for multitasking and other basic functions.

but fanboys on the other hand would never see the flaws in the iphone and always come up with an excuse as to y they didnt need an important feature...

same here. again major disappointment from Apple. i'm sure most ppl were expecting a complete redesign of the OS.

instead all they doing is throwing in the "we weren't the first but we'll be the best" features :roll:

and to be honest, all the backgrounder and categories and winterboard etc really slowed down the phone and never relly worked well on a phone loaded with lots of apps and themes/hacks etc..

Apple designed the OS and has full control over it, so implementing things like this are not "hacks" anymore

i am thinking about keeping my iPhone, but would like to see a hardware/design update

This is about helping our developers make some money through advertising to keep their free apps free.

all of the cydia app (especially ones that offer UI features) is stuff users alwasy wanted.. hence they were created on cydia, most cydia apps are modeled after other apps from osx or other handsets..

i dont really care what you have, you are just bussin your nut trying to shoot down everything apple iphone/ipad related.. like a wining little child

we get that it's not for everyone, get over it

the device/os has only been around for 3~ years, others like symbian, wm6 or whatever, palm and bb have been around for almost a decade.. it would obviously take apple a while to get everything (function wise) into apples device...
