Because Holland is FLAT and in inspiring. I could barely watch their round of 16 game. They never took total control of the game plus it was boring football to say the least- :?

Brasil-2 Holland-0

I think Germany has never waited more than 20 years to win a World Cup...lemme see...1930 to 1954 (20 years), 1954 to 1974 (20 years), 1974 to 1990 (16 years)........AND 1990 to 2010......that'll be 20 years......

tremble!

let face facts, the biggest under achievers it have in football, is netherlands, spain, england and portugal, so far two get knock out, and i know holland getting knock out come tomorrow, spain still have a chance but i doubt they cud pass germany or argentina, brazil in the final already is just to see who they playing, i feel any one of the south american sides will give netherlands a run for dey money

Mystic octopus tips Germany over Argentina

Wed Jun 30 2010 16:13:26

Mystic octopus tips Germany over Argentina So far he hasn't made a mistake. And octopus "Paul" is continuing to predict Germany's World Cup results, this time for the quarter final match against Argentina.

Paul, who lives in an aquarium in the western German city of Oberhausen, has predicted that Germany will beat the South American side on Saturday.

A spokeswoman for the aquarium said Paul had "a one hundred percent hit rate" after rightly forecasting Germany's World Cup victory over Australia, the loss against Serbia, and the win over England.

Paul cannot talk, but rather he is drawn to certain flags of the countries participating in the Wold Cup.

The eight-legged octopus has become a celebrity oracle in Germany and is now also becoming known further afield.

"He's a very skilled prophet. He has nine brains and three hearts and each of his three hearts are pumping for Germany, so that is the reason why Paul is our medium," said Sebastian Krueger of Sealife.

there u have it.......germany will come out on top...

Uninspiring you know what I meant.

They did not look convincing at all in that last victory...in fact for long spells of the game they were on the back foot with some desperate defending.

Even from a neutral stand point I don't see them pulling it off against the Brasilians. They're just too powerful, too quick and tactically the best team in the tournament so far.

How good has been Holland's defense? i havent really watched their games, but if their defense can adapt to quick changes then i think they might be able to upset brazil. As for the Arg game, my side's defense troubles me badly, i fear for them in this match. the german attack is very quick an mulifaceted, from the wing or upfront. I jus hopin they can hold on, i know the attack will score, but its if they will score more than germany
