Well I would think that it depends on what he has to do ......if he has 2 do the entire flare or if there is a kit and he has to fit it...I know for the bug he made metal flares shaped it..then made fiberglass molds...but I will inquire and get back to you.......

sad that this is not the only one
I regularly spend time looking at a 1930s Rolls Royce walled up in a friend's house
He'll eventually get around to it after he's done with the MG, Jag, Citroen and the other MG

Amm, yuh lost me there, padna. Why should a wider track cause that?
I can understand a change in the handling (reduced oversteer)...

Wider tyres... yes, to some degree... but the same general bearing loads and frictional losses spread over wider axles = reduced torque? :?

I read it somewhere
can't remember where tho........along the lines of unequal length axles causing torque steer, and why Jag used to run inboard brakes etc

unequal length axles =/= wider track
if you use the old wives tale of a longer handle screwdriver giving you more torque then the opposite of what you said would be true
but obviously that doesnt make any sense in terms of physics

Is the engine still running? Is the owner seriously dumping it? Or does he have plans for it?
