Probably if they have the money to buy the car, then in all likelihood they have the out of pocket money to fix the car? I guess the decision on the type of insurance all comes down to the individual's risk assessment of his/her driving habits. What qualifies you to say that they are too cheap to pay for full comprehensive insurance?

If I had money to buy an expensive but rare exotic car I was getting third party as well. Insurance is a means of transferring liability to those that can afford the risk of it. Why not take the risk if you can afford it. Odds are that it will be more profitable in the end. This is literally how insurance companies stay afloat.

Consider this, there are local long term leasing companies that offer a long term lease with fully comp, but when you look at the insurance it is third party they have you moving with. Same concept, larger scale. It's all about playing the odds.

It's not like you buying the car to crash it anyway.

If you going for third party however, please still go with a reputable company to make things easier for anyone else you crash in to.

check colfire or massy united. after the discounts once you driving for a while you wont pay too much for third party. save yourself the headache of motor one as they are prehistoric and dont honor claims. there is a reason they call them bounce and loss
