I transferred a car in Caroni about 2 months ago and it took me all of 30 mins. If I waited another hour I would have collected my CC as well.

no system is perfect. this may just be one that hasn't been entered yet, either by sequence or by mistake.

if there is a way to flag it to the database people so that they can fix the database, u can do that.

We have a certified copy that shows the correct current owner, which suggests the manual register was updated. I thought that was proof enough the car was transferred.

I'm hoping it's as sMASH said and just an oversight.

question - one one of our cars certified copy the owners name is spelt incorrectly
on the other the name & colour is incorrect

do i also have to go through the transport commissioner to have this rectified ??

hmmmm.... really dont want to make the trek to L.O.

in the first cars instance - its my moms name - they spelt it incorrectly and the vehicle is actually stolen.
(i think) they should put a watermark across the entry saying stolen
that way if anyone decides to print a copy of the information they'll see on every printed copy the vehicle is listed as stolen.

on the second vehicle same thing - they spelt my dads name wrong and wrong color car

on my car everything is correct though....... go figure.
