At least if they need to do it in the day (residential areas), then between 9:30/10am till 3pm for the latest.

I said it many times, we needed a Train in this country, something like say a Rapid Rail but with the level of racket and corruption that does run rampant in this place it will be impossible to build.

Decentralization and staggered work times should help

Expand the use of WAter Taxis
The Gulf of Paria..is maintenance free transport infrastructure.
And no pothole.

Decentralize, flextime, car pooling, telecommuting, could all reduce the peak hr traffic.

Yes we need a train but we cannot trust this PNM governments to get their hands involved in it.

They can't even supply a calcutter ship to Tobago

The only thing they care about with that total vehicle stat is that they should get $300 for each inspection every year-2 years and generate 150million in revenue.

Government using stats from someone with a personal agenda......who doesnt drive past the lighthouse. Arrive alive doesnt care about anything else but thier own agenda.

Public transport busses that are luxury liners that are costly to maintain.....

How many of those registered vehicles are actually on the road.
Better stats would be from insurance companies

This buses should have been basic with hard plastic seats. Not fabric.

The Gulf maybe maintenance free however vessels running in salt water are far from being maintenance free.
Are the huge sums spent to subsidize the water taxis really worth it?

As opposed to everything else that now subsidized?

And sea ferrys work elsewhere in the world.
Hovercraft, ferrys even seaplane airbridge to Tobago.

Worth investigating.
