Is the santa fe in the same segment as the x3 or is that in the segment with the x5?Shalom Vanamson wrote:Its funny how the new Santa Fe is more expensive than that X3 . But this new dealer's prices generally are way better compared to the previous dealer
Nope that X5 is a bigger vehicle and classed with Benz GLE and Cayenne, the Santa fe is roughly the same size as the X3 but the X3 has a greater wheelbase.carluva wrote:Is the santa fe in the same segment as the x3 or is that in the segment with the x5?Shalom Vanamson wrote:Its funny how the new Santa Fe is more expensive than that X3 . Exactly the Prado looks bigger in every dimension because of a couple inches in height but otherwise in length and importantly wheelbase the X5 in both current gen (G05) AND previous gen (F15) is bigger than it. And besides vehicles with a boxier design tend to look bigger than they actually arerspann wrote:Screenshot_20191206-060858.png
Just found this. The Prado sits higher on a ladder frame with large / pickup type tyres so that's why it probably looks bigger.

You sure it's the latest X5? They were changed recently and the new one is huge.
rspann wrote:I have one and I find it's bigger than the Prado except that it sits lower. The new one is still bigger. The Prado is narrower so it seems taller.

Are the differences to the regular version all cosmetic or are there any engine/suspension mods?
