Before everyone gets too excited check the torque figures of the two engines. 316i would not be a race against a sylphy. Sylphy easily left behind in straight line and in corners.

Not funny fact: A bmw 316i has the same HP rating as a bluebird sylphy and the bmw is 1.6 vs the sylphy at 2.0 We just can spend over $400k inclusive of insurance on a starter bmw when it have $100k sylphy's with the same power Looks like we gotta wait, fix car and humble we self

Look at those figures closely. Max torque at 1350 RPM............ vs 4400 RPM.
Also, the 316 outputs is max HP at a lower RPM as well. That sylphy never gonna pull like the 316.

Why these engines being compared like they in the same class anyway?
