I honestly own one of those super thin Sony TX series cameras and while very convenient. The picture quality sucks....just a a little better than a good cell phone camera.
Really wish they'd put a little more emphasis on better optics (it is possible, even in that size range).
Also, I don't think the optics has much to do with the washed out weird unbalanced color I see from Sony PS cameras as even their larger lens siblings experience the same problem.
