If u have to choose a public hospital Sangre Grande would the best place. All my family gave birth there.

If my wife had to have her baby in Trinidad we would have gone with West shore or st Claire.

If you can afford a birthing at a private institution whos to tell you not to. Rather than having to worry about everything that can go wrong at a general hospital. My two sons were born at sfgh an im thankfull that my wife's experience was a good one. She says she lucky, no rough up from the nurses, but iz probly cause she was scared to show any signs of weakness . If I could have afforded it I would have had her deliver privately, at least she wouldnt have had to wait 4 hrs to be stitched up after giving birth, and I wouldnt hav had to wait on d ward to see her.

Hmn lucky for me most of my family are doctors and nurses in San Fernando hospital so everything will be well taken care off!
