d2 ohm run parallel = 1 ohm.

d4 ohm run parallel = 2 ohm.

1 ohm & 2 ohm parallel =

1.5 ohm load.

d4 run parallel = 2 ohm

d2 run series = 2 ohm

you run dem parallel you get 1 ohm you run dem series you get 4 ohm load.

horse u loss me dey....
i think what slackerjack tryin to say is...

*(SVC - single voice coil, DVC - dual voice coil)*

1 - DVC 4 ohm subwoofer wired in series - 8 ohms
wired in parallel - 2 ohms
1 - DVC 2 ohm subwoofer wired in series - 4 ohms
wired in parallel - 1 ohm

2 - DVC 4 ohm subwoofers wired in parallel - parallel would give you a load of 1 ohm.
2 - DVC 4 ohm subwoofers wired in series - parallel would give you a load of 4 ohms, the same applies to parallel - series.
2 - DVC 4 ohm subwoofers wired in series - series would give you a load of 16 ohms.

2 - DVC 2 ohm subwoofers wired in parallel - parallel would give you a load of 0.5 ohm.
2 - DVC 2 ohm subwoofers wired in series - parallel would give you a load of 2 ohms, the same applies to parallel - series.
2 - DVC 2 ohm subwoofers wired in series - series would give you a load of 8 ohms.

your amplifier is stable @ 2 ohms so you would need either
2 - SVC 4 ohm Subwoofers in parallel that would give you a 2 ohm load
or
2 - DVC 2 ohm subwoofers wired in series - parallel or parallel - series to give you a load of 2 ohms.
