Website e-commerce payment gateways

Postby zitanos » July 27th, 2010, 12:27 pm

Any of you guys have any experiences using:

Alertpay.com
2checkout.com
or
ScotiaBank

for e-commerce

I'm looking for feedback as to what you think of the service you used.
Trying to decide which one to go with in setting up an online store.

scotiabank digging out your eye with their ecommerce solution, every single transaction has a US$ fee added to it, with monthly rental fees and yearly fees, gateway fees, security fees etc how do they expect small business to grow.

^ Correct.

Scotia for some reason doesn't seem interested in promoting local e-commerce.

Maybe old/bad management of that area, i don't know.

Use a foreign gateway/processor.

have you ever considered Alertpay?
their fees are a little lower 4.9% and 0.25 cents
compared with 2checkout's 5.5% and 0.5 cents
