Air conditioning advice please

I am going to install an AC in my room and i need advice on a reliable ac.My price range is between 2000 to 2500.I need advice on brands to buy and the brands to stay away from.Your input will be greatly appreciated.Thanks

U would get a Lenox 12000btu installed for that price. Have one for over two yrs works good.

$2500 will get you a cheap low quality sticker brand. Don't pretend like you actually have a choice in choosing from a brand at $2500. They are all clones made in the same place and a different sticker stamped on it, there is no difference.

There is already a thread on this, you should read there to have an idea, its usually panasonic, LG, Samsung, Mitsubishi electric or Daikin if you want a good quality AC. There is no such thing as a quality $2500 AC, they will however do the job for 5 years then you replace.
