Can anyone recommend a plumber or if you are one and available to do some routine work in a home.

Finding a reliable plumber is crucial. I've had good experiences with Brisbane Pipe Relining for similar work. They're known for being trustworthy and efficient. It might be worth checking if they serve your area or if they can recommend someone in Cunupia. It's always a good idea to get a few quotes and check reviews, too. Basic plumbing should be known by any home owner. You never know at what ungodly hour something may go wrong and you would have to DIY. Always keep some elbows, collars, cement and threadseal etc. At least if you really can't remedy you have parts for someone to assist you.
Exercise your angle and stop cork valves to ensure they will stop water flow if needed.
