On a crisp and fresh Saturday morning some of the crew from the Mazda BT-50 Club assembled under the Grand Bazaar Flyover. Whilst waiting on other fellow members to arrive there was much discussion about our vehicles and various modifications, lights, bumpers and other trim, as all car/truck enthusiasts do. There were about 15 vans, some fresh stock vehicles and a few modified, but all looking beautiful! Upon the arrival of the members we have headed out and proceeded to Tyrico Bay taking the Mt. Hope/ Santa Cruz route. You know how that Maraval-Maracas traffic can be at times!
Off we went on our journey, convoy looking strong, taking a few stops to the bars for ice and drinks. Moving along we arrived at the famous Maracas lookout for some quick snacks and mango chow. Wrapping that up quickly we continued the voyage and soon enough arrived at Tyrico Bay, taking in the beautiful morning scenery of the sands and seas. The day went along nicely with the pots bubbling, beach chairs and umbrellas out with everyone meeting new members and vans, all BT50’s new-models and old-models alike.
