On Wednesday 10th July, 2024, the Trinidad and Tobago Automobile Sports Association (TTASA) conducted its Annual General Meeting and Management Committee Elections in accordance with the TTASA constitution. The constitution states that the Annual General Meeting and Management Committee Elections are to be held biannually on the 2nd Wednesday in July.
The monthly meeting for the period of June-July 2024 was conducted, followed by the AGM reports which were read by the relevant Executive Members. The election process occurred thereafter with votes being cast through a secret ballot to ensure voter discretion. Upon completion of the voting process under the watchful eye of the members of the Trustees of the Association and an independent Auditor, the counting of votes was completed and the results of the elections were as follows:
We saw Mr. Ashton Eligon returning for a second term as President of the Association. Mr. Roger Hutcheon was elected as the Vice President, Mr. Kevin Surujbally as the Honorable Secretary, Mr. Jody Ali as the Honorable Treasurer, Mr. Rae Smith as the Competition Chairman, Mr. Wazeer Khan and Mr. Ronald Wortman as Members Representatives.
