Porsche Centre Trinidad Celebrating Christmas with the Community

POS/Trinidad & Tobago. The Christmas season can elicit a myriad of emotions in everyone, which is why it offers the perfect opportunity for companies to give back to their communities. It’s a fact that Volunteer groups and non-profit organizations cannot do it alone which is why our team at Porsche Centre Trinidad strongly believe investing in our community is a great way to give back to those who have helped support our brand.

When Porsche Centre Trinidad received a request for support by Keniesha Lewis-Mc Farlane, a member of ‘I Support Our Services’ (ISOS), we did not hesitate to roll up our sleeves and get busy. Porsche was pleased to donate a Christmas tree to the Barataria Police Station and our team pleasantly surprised them by coming out in their numbers to do all the hard work. The altruistic spirit by Team Porsche was so infectious, that Inspector Archibald and his colleagues joined in to give a hand.

When asked why the Porsche team was so willing to give their time, Riyad Ali, Porsche Trinidad Brand Manager, said ‘At Porsche, we approach business beyond the sale of our vehicles, we are about community. We believe all companies need to be more responsive and get involved in giving back. In other regions in the world, we are supporting different causes such as training in underserved communities, or house building after disasters. We want to share this way of thinking and influence others. We need to be a leader in the automotive environment here in Trinidad and Tobago so that our drivers can also be influenced by our actions.’

Porsche Centre Trinidad is thankful with the ISOS team for allowing us to get involved with their beautification project and look forward to a long-term relationship with our local protective services to work together in community projects. The Porsche brand has been part of Trinidad 14 years to date and we have plans to be here for years to come. This holiday season has been the catalyst for us to practice the act of giving and we look forward to supporting our community further in 2020.

On behalf of our team at Porsche Centre Trinidad, we want to thank all our customers, business partners, Porsche Facebook and Instagram followers and members of our community a Merry Christmas and best wishes for a prosperous 2020.
