Porsche Centre Trinidad has recently partnered with The Shelter and Coalition Against Domestic Violence, organizations dedicated to helping victims of domestic abuse in Trinidad and Tobago.
Port of Spain – Porsche Centre Trinidad, a division of Lifestyle Motors, is proud to witness the ongoing improvements in facilities for families seeking refuge at The Shelter, a respected organization dedicated to providing safe spaces for those in need.
Since the partnership was established in 2022, it has continued to evolve, fostering a supportive environment for families exposed to domestic abuse as they rebuild their lives.
On Saturday, September 21st, the Coalition Against Domestic Violence held its 2nd Annual Savannah Lap Event – “Stride Against Abuse: Every Step Counts.” This community-driven initiative encourages individuals and organizations to come together in a symbolic walk around the Queen’s Park Savannah, raising awareness and providing much-needed support for victims.
“As a company, we are deeply committed to supporting female empowerment in a variety of ways, both locally and globally. Whether through our partnerships with organizations that provide safe spaces for vulnerable individuals or by participating in awareness-raising events, we believe in creating opportunities for women to thrive. Every step, no matter how small, plays a crucial role in building a safer, more compassionate society for all,” said Savina Ramkissoon, Marketing and PR Manager for Porsche Centre Trinidad/Lifestyle Motors.
Through their continued partnership with organizations like The Shelter and their active participation in events like the Savannah Lap, Porsche Centre Trinidad is using its platform to make a positive impact on society.
In addition, together they are exploring ways to further support by providing programs offering vocational training and financial assistance to help victims regain their independence and confidence. These efforts aim to contribute to a future where domestic violence is significantly reduced, and victims are empowered to rebuild their lives in safety and dignity.
