The story behind the Evo X and the 4 Black Hawks

Living in the Caribbean means it’s very rare you’d see a US Military Black Hawk- much less FOUR of them!

It’s only natural that swAy photogrAphy seized the moment to capture this photo of his Evo X with the Black Hawks doing synchronized training in the background.

These helicopters are currently in Trinidad and Tobago as part of the Fused Response annual event, which runs from April 16-26. Fused Response is a multilateral exercise to build and strengthen the relationships and cooperation between defense forces.

“Actually, I was fortunate to catch them- those are Black Hawks.

I work at Piarco International Airport, was warming up the car when I saw them heading west and started banking to head east again. It was only right that I got the car into position thereafter.”

WTF IS #2nrSnap?!

Based on the “Random Snap” initiative on similar sites like Speedhunters.com #2nrSnap provides a medium for any photographer or members of the public alike to submit a single photo they deem rather interesting whether it is a favourite shot from a shoot/event or even an awesomely awesome random spot in PriceSmart’s parking lot! Maybe even something fresh off the port…

However along with the photo you must attach a few lines giving some background to the photo- where you spotted it, what was your thought process behind snapping the photo, your favourite thing about it, hell you can even shout out the owner if you know him/her.

If your submission is great there might be FREE t-shirts, stickers and event passes involved!

Awesome! How do I submit?

Facebook: Send your photo and words to our Facebook page here.

Instagram: Upload your photo and words as the image caption, be sure to use the hashtags #2nrSnap and #trinituner. Both #hashtags must be present for the submission to be considered.

Alternatively you can DM your photo and caption to us via our IG account @trinituner.

E-Mail: Send an email to kasey@trinituner with the subject #2nrSnap Submission and put your words in the e-mail body with the image attached. Please no images larger than 1920px.

It is only obvious that higher quality images and better written descriptions will be given preference, so compose that shot well and write that description as best as you can. I feel like I need to state this also- please use your OWN photos!
