TTASA 2019 Circuit Racing Prize Giving Ceremony

The Trinidad and Tobago Automobile Sport Association held their annual Circuit Racing Prize Giving Ceremony and Dinner at House of Chan on Saturday 7th December, 2019. The Woodbrook situated restaurant saw over eighty guests seated and entertained by the Master of Ceremony Mr. Rae Smith.

Starting off the evening’s ceremony was an opening speech by TTASA President Mr. Fyzool Madan. Mr. Madan outlined the Associations achievements for the 2019 year, such as the amount of events hosted, corporate partnerships, an increase in assets and also an update on the new lease for the Wallerfield International Raceway.

Similar remarks were also made by Competition Chairman Devi Nath, Treasurer Roger Hutcheon and Member’s Representative Ryan Peyrau, all of which assured those present, that 2020 is going to be a great year for Motorsport in Trinidad and Tobago.

Following these a long list of trophies, plaques and medals were awarded to the top performers in the 2019 Race of Champion Circuit Series and those who represented Trinidad and Tobago regionally and internationally.

Ministry of Sport Representative Delissa Blizzard, shared positive sentiments toward the Association, which were followed by closing remarks by newly appointed Vice President Ashton Eligon.
