The TTRC would like to express congratulations and sincere thanks to all the teams, officials and marshals, etc for coming out to our first competitive event for 2021. The club is grateful for our communications sponsor Massy Tech. Also for the continued support of long time sponsor Junior Sammy Contractors.
Covid-19 protocols were in place. Spectators were not allowed.
Team Russell and Team Sumair had an interesting battle at the front. Each team set the fastest time in a direction. Only 2 seconds separated these teams at the end of the day.
Our veteran driver, Mr Kumar Ramdass drove like a younger version of himself, the Evo 6 and anti-lag were on point.
Mr Ansel Ali and is new Co-driver had the Wolf rotary powered 323 singing and spitting flames mixed with dust.
Both Sanjeev Samaroo and Michael Heerah had issues with their vehicles and were unable to make it to the start. Other teams are in various level of prep and will be out shortly.
The TTRC would also like to express our appreciation to Mr Bisram Ramlagan, our Clerk of the Course, for continuing to support the sport of rally, through the sharing of his time and expertise at our events.
The next TTRC event is carded for 21st March 2021.
