When yuh
bounce up D Sleeper on de Beetham Highway, doh wake him up by revvin to
hard nah.
Because yuh go make him vex and yuh eh go like him when he get vex.
Gerald Aboud,
boy o boy, yuh reach partner, yuh on like ah boil corn. If de car do 12
seconds on d track yuh eh want it. Ah know d feelin boy. But ah know ah
could bet on dis one after dat drive yuh gimme.
"D FASTEST Civic in T&T", "D FASTEST street Civic in
d Caribbean" for real man. Dread, Wicked Slam, Bombastic, Copasetic,
Badd Ride everyting in one. Yuh eh easy at all.
Contemplate
purchasing a brand new Civic SIR and then yanking out the factory engine
and everything that goes with it. What you got
D
Sleeper, because you replace it with the evilest combination of steel,
metal and plastic ever.
My old school
mate Gerald Aboud worked exclusively with his mechanic Kirk Pouchet for
over 4 months piecing together this outstanding demonstration of VTEC
Turbo Power. He first purchased an engine from a junkyard in Miami. After
much consultation he decide it would be best to go with an original b16a
stock bore engine which was then re-built by John Brown of Turismo Technology
in Boca Raton, Florida. Get this, John's personal drag car is now featured
in the April 2000 issue of Turbo
Magazine. His car puts down a scorchin' 9.90et and is sponsored by
Brahaman Honda.
The
new engine & modification parts were then shipped to Trinidad to be
assembled and installed by Kirk Pouchet. And what a job Kirk did. Today
a vicious howl echos through the air as D Sleeper charges down the highway.
Its small displacement, forced-fed engine screams of hell on wheels as
it spins just shy of
9100rpm's. With its lightweight, forged alloy pistons and titanium rods
this b16a is well equipped to handle high output at extreme engine speeds.
Fitted with a metal head gasket and low compression pistons the compression
ratio is 9-1. Exhaust is pumped through an impressive Turbonetics T3/T4
Turbocharger
via a Thermal Research manifold and 3' Exhaust System. Excess pressure
bleeds off via a Delta Gate wastegate.
Breathing
is no problem because a large bore Bullfrog throttle body fully match-ported
certainly delivers.
