less than 13 years with 100% support from his wife Jenny, Marcel has become
an icon on the local auto and marine race arena. With a desire and love
for perfection stemming from the bottom of his heart, he has been able
to build two monster performance vehicles for himself. Saving the best
for last
.. Marcel's daily transport definitely leaves a streak
of envy in the eyes of many daily commuters. Imagine yourself cruising
to work every day rain or shine, in a sleek but sheek 1987, Supercharged
Intercooled, 1600cc, Twincam, Toyota Levin Coupe fitted with a Pace-Setter
Extractor, 21/2 inch Saber Exhaust System, Overdrive Supercharger Pulley,
Apex Springs, Koni Shocks and low profile BF Goodrich 15' tyres pumping
out 200 horses at 13psi of Boost. Not bad you say, well you ain't seen
nothin yet.
The past
several years however have been dedicated to the customization of Marcel's
pride and joy.
Now famous on the local drag scene THE FALCON. This Australian 1969 High
Performance 351 GT Ford Falcon has certainly flown to new heights. Built
solely by Marcel, his streetable Showcar and Hotrod swooped down on its
prey both in Trinidad and Barbados to dominate and eat-up any unsuspecting
competition in the 1998 Drag Circuit. Truly amazed were our neighbours
in Barbados. This Impeccable Mean Machine came and went in the blink of
an eye. To prove a point some would say. Marcel sure proved something
"a shoe-maker can wear good shoes". 1st place in the 11 second
Bracket 1998.
