Solodex VI - The fight for the TOP! - 8th. October 2000
And the Champion is? Graeme Hutchinson!!

A year of Solodex concludes.

Those of us who missed the opportunity to experience the wonder of Solodex, fear not the new season is only 4 months away.

The Team @CARS can stand tall and claim their stake in the world of Auto Sport. They have successfully introduced a new concept to the industry and have managed to produce six thrilling events. Solodex VI (the championship) was held this weekend (Oct 8). At the end of it all the Solodex 2000 Champion is Graeme Hutchinson, who produced consistent wins in the ES class all year earning himself 419 points to be crowned The Top Driver 2000. Actually, Graeme was so HOTTT behind the wheel that he was confirmed Champ since Solodex V, as no one could come close to his points even if they added a win in Solodex VI. Solodex VI results decided winners for the Champions in the different classes.

The top contenders for the 2000 trophy in the most competitive class, EP, especially Rawle Mahabir and Roger Williams were on their P's and Q's all day.

This is where the big gunns play, 4wd EVO's, 323's and other highly modified cars.

The competition between Rawle and Roger was fierce as Roger produced a seemingly unbeatable time on his third run. Rawle was forced to dip into the hat to beat Rogers 50 second time and almost did with a 49 second final run, but his trap speed was to high and he crashed through the cones at the end, thus incurring a time penalty This left Roger to stand alone as EP Champ.

Other winners were Cristian Bourne, 1st in ESP, also with the days quickest time, Nishard Mohammed
1st in GS and Jerry Dial 1st in HS.

Amongst the ladies, Alicia Mc Kenzie stole the show as Ladies Champion after adding her points from Solodex VI.

We look forward to Bigger & Better Solodex 2001. Hats off to CARS.
