SBN 2010 news update

Postby SR » March 21st, 2010, 8:03 am

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SBN 24 Gains Trade Show Momentum.

Daytona Beach, Florida March 17, 2010 - Only one year before the silver anniversary of the Spring Break Nationals, the 24th annual event raised the bar for Trade Show competency. SBN producer Paul Papadeas said, “We had a significant increase in Trade Exhibitors and Regional Dealer participation this year; those who realize the importance of exposing their brands to stimulated consumers. Their investment in SBN was satisfied by the thickest attendance that we’ve seen in years. With the construction of the new Ocean Center behind us, we have a venue worthy of hosting a full blown trade show; SBN is back on topâ€

he always takes a dablle in 2 seat from time to time but his vehicle needs upgrading now

fibreglass work on the dash starting to show its age especially as he uses it as a daily driver unlike others with extensive fibre glass work

but wasnt sq and install always 2 separate things

sqc for the sound alone and sqi for the install and they throw in the sqc score on the side

sound q was both sq and install
sqc was just sound alone then there was isqc 1 seat and 2 seat

so now its gonna be back to basics

sound quality page 1 of the score sheet
install will be a separate competition and if you want the best of show challenge then you have to do sqc iqc and rta/spl challenge and the overall top score wins best of show

sound q is being done as sqc only now to make it less challengine for the newcomers to compeat besides the competition is about sound and not install
so back to the basics and return to sound

this should remove the detereant from some people who think you need a fancy install to compete/win at sound q

I like that idea.
I never understood what a clean engine bay had to do with sound quality.

So as of now

SQC= SQ, I take it there will be no more Sound Quality Challenge.
