Even for the ‘test and tune’ Saturday competition was stiffer than stiff with their second installment of the AWD Shootout at Camden. Competitor turnout reflected that a $3000.00 cash prize was more than enough incentive to get them to come out and try their hand at this dial-up competition thing.

AutoSport Racing Association staged the first Motor Racing Event for 2015 at the Camden Drag Racing track on the weekend of 3rd and 4th January. TTASA constructing Circuit Racing Track at Camden

The President of TTASA Mr. Mohammed Ali said his association has started the clearing of an area immediately north of the Camden runway / drag strip that will be used for a circuit racing track. Mr. Ali said the new circuit will be 1.1 miles long and will be more or less a mirror image of the track at Wallerfield. He said the new track being constructed will be 40 feet wide and paved with asphalt with wider sections at the corners with sand traps.
