With the SeaBoard Marine CMRC Round 2 easing it’s way up into calendar, drivers took the opportunity to test themselves and cars on the newly paved Wallerfield International Speedway while also doing the track a favour by laying down some rubber.

TTASA has been busy preparing for the upcoming Trinidad leg of the SeaBoard Marine Caribbean Motor Racing Championship to be held at the newly re-paved Wallerfield International Circuit track, but they aren’t the only ones. The competitors have been waiting all year for a chance to test their cars and get valuable seat time on the track which was only resurfaced last week.

SeaBoard Marine CMRC opens new era for Wallerfield
More than 40 regional drivers are making final preparations for next weekend’s (June 20/21) second round of the 2015 Seaboard Marine Caribbean Motor Racing Championship. Organised by the Trinidad & Tobago Automobile Sports Association (TTASA), the event will christen the newly-resurfaced Wallerfield Raceway, kick-starting a new era for motor sport in the twin-island state.

Rally stars to face off in Suzuki Challenge Series
Paul ‘Surfer’ Bourne and Roger ‘The Sheriff’ Skeete will transfer their age-old rivalry from rally stage to racetrack on Sunday (June 14) when they compete in round three of the Suzuki Challenge Series at Bushy Park Barbados. While the two former Rally Barbados winners will contest the Swift Cup, Martinique’s Simon Jean-Joseph, who finished second in this year’s 25th Anniversary event two weeks ago, will make his circuit-racing debut in a Suzuki-powered Radical in the SR3 Cup.
