Rally Trinidad 2010 – Opening Ceremony
After a shakedown earlier Friday morning, TTRC held the opening ceremony on the tarmac area of the Queen’s Park Savannah at around 5pm. Trini culture was one display complete with tassa and mas costumes. 40 confirmed competitors lined up before running a short dexterity course designed more as a display, befrore driving up a ramp to a stage where the drivers were interviewed briefly about their thoughts on the upcoming weekend of rally.
Rally Trinidad 2010 – Scrutineering
The public got a chance to see all the cars entered in Rally Trinidad 2010 and to meet and greet the drivers at the scrutineering event held at rally HQ stationed at Grand Bazaar. Everyone was interested in seeing the foreign competition and even more so to meet Mark Higgins and Nicky Grist.
Rally Trinidad 2010 – Sneak Peak
The excitement is building for Rally Trinidad 2010 and the feeling can only be described as “giddy”! On Friday night the foreign cars, including the WRC contenders and the car Mark Higgins & Nicky Grist will be running, were cleared off the port and Gerrard Wilson and Robbie Cadiz took the opportunity to get some “spy” photos before the cars are revealed to the T&T public for the launch of RT10 later this week.

Rally Trinidad 2009 Scrutineering & Drivers’ Briefing
Rally Trinidad 2009 officially began with a Scrutineering Session at Grand Bazaar Northern Car Park on Thursday 2nd April. All Rally Cars and Course cars were checked and held in Park Fermé until all entries were completed and accepted. The Briefing meeting was held at the Club Towers upstairs at the Grand Bazaar after the scrutineering session was completed around 7:30pm.
TTRC Rally – Bronte and Cedar Hill
Barry Mckenzie with Co Driver Barry Samaroo in the yellow and blue ULTRA/RALLYMAC sponsored EVO6 wins TTRC’s first High Speed Stages Rally for 2009, despite some technical setbacks and a run-off! The Barry x 2 team captured the 4WD Class as well as the Overall Champion of the event in the now familiar Rallymac Yellow and Blue livery.
