Are there any life insurance plans for individuals 75 years and older with health complications?

I’m surprised there isn’t a spread sheet around with benefits / risks of all the health insurance plans .the orange juice man never says his oranges sour

near to impossible
actuary mortality tables have lifespans around 75 i think, slight difference between men and women
so no way they would risk that

I think someone mentioned here that on the group health plans in the credit unions you could add family indemnity plans for parents and in laws.

Too high a risk, insurance is basically the pooling of risks but that's too big a chance especially in these circumstances and would inevitably make the company hit the red

^^

Peeps should know this since it could be important to all families or individuals .

You can have an " individual" family plan if you are self employed or have un small business .

It's available at almost all credit unions and many insurance companies .

BUT beware as follows: The friend or family member who tries to sell you a " package deal " !

Do not engage your self or business with those NEW freelance insurance agents . There are usually
very very irresponsible and they may lie to get your business - sometimes you have to pay and THEN
they will tell you if you are approved.

It's a scam to get your business and private information such as banking information, your salary and they will try sell you plans you do not need.

Why ? Just to show the home insurance company or "boss employer" that they can sell insurance !

Just go directly to the insurance company ( Tatil, Guardian etc ) or to a reputable BROKER ( an excellent broker is Agostini Insurance Brokers etc., there are many others ) and they will help you with excellent service and in confidence .

Live your Life !

Are u looking for life insurance or health insurance? I think 65 is the cut off age for most health insurance companies I checked.

Life insurance should still be available through the family indemnity plan from CUNA

ruskie wrote:Your age is a consideration. Most of the credit union plans you have to join below 60. I think one or 2 might be 65. Some only cover you up to a certain age and not through retirement. Most company plans will offer 200 or 300,000 lifetime cover after retirement (sagicor small company plan). The credit union plans, generally, will do 3 year renewable for the same value, but you have to be aware and check (320 a month, plus about 300 for a plus one and 800 for a whole family) . The 3 insurance companies I saw, mostly, with group plans through the credit unions, were sagicor, beacon and maritime. If you are already a retiree, the only one I found was Eastern credit unions plan with Maritime. You can join before 74.
Jeez. Eastern Credit union not with maritime 30,000 renewable every 3 year plan for retirees anymore. it is now guardian 250000...lifetime. damn.

Insurance is like a pyramid scheme it's only strong when more ppl join....however most ppl out here don't see Insurance as a need nor a want

I went through this same dilemma last year when I was trying to sort out coverage for the whole family. It felt like nothing clear existed unless you sat down and did all the research yourself. Some plans let both spouses have coverage and combine benefits, but it gets tricky when you start adding kids or parents into the mix, especially if someone has a health condition or is a bit older.

I didn’t know how flexible coverage could actually be until I looked into family health insurance options in the UK. You can tweak them based on family size and needs. That’s how I ended up checking out these family health insurance plans on https://premierpmi.co.uk/family-health-insurance/. Might be worth your time if flexibility and tailored options matter to you.
